The
Busanga plains in the north is a huge flat expanse that stretches in all
directions as far as the eye can see. It is one of Zambia’s most significant
wetland resources and one of the few areas untouched by development or human
activity. |
The wealth of game on the plains is a major attractions for
predators, including solitary leopards, cheetahs, and prides of up to 20 lions
are spotted regularly. Lions and cheetah kills are not uncommon.
