11 Days / 10 Nights
Zambia
has set aside a large percentage of its land for the conservation of wildlife
and has some spectacular and least visited parks in Africa.

Bangweulu
floodplains often referred to as the ‘’ The
Mini Okavango’’ is an unusual watery wilderness. The sky is
huge, and the views to the horizons seem endless. The swampy plains support an
incredible diversity of waterbirds, including the rare shoebill Stork, and is
home to massive herds of Black Lechwe.

Kasanka
National Park is Zambia’s first privately-run national park. It is unsually
diverse, its patchwork of habitats ranging from dry woodland and evergreen
riparian forest to open grassy dambos (drainage channels) |
and lakes fringed
with palms and papyrus swamps.
The Sitatunga, rare, beautiful swamp dwelling
antelope ( of which Kasanka has the Africa’s densest, most visible
population) along with powerful sable, roan antelope, large hreds of pukus,
zebra, waterbucks and elephants roam the forests. It’s
antelope nirvana in this part.

Mutinindo
Wilderness is a private 10,000 hectares conservancy which encompasses a
pristine area of verdant Miombo woodland near the edge of the Luangwa
escarpment- complete with huge granite whalebacks, crystal clear rivers,
stunning waterfalls, pristine woodlands and some small wetland areas. There
are great plants and birds, which all make for a lovely ambience.
