Lower Zambezi & South Luangwa (Flying
Safari)
6 Days / 5 Nights
Witness
the primordial drama of the wild close-up; on game drives in open vehicles, on
walking Safaris through pristine bush or boat safari down the breathtakingly
scenic Lower Zambezi which guarantees the absolute experience of “The
Real Africa’’…..
|
The
now famous ‘’ Walking Safaris’’ originated in South Luangwa National
Park, which is acknowledged as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries, and
not without reason. The concentration of game around the Luangwa River and its
ox bow Lagoons is among the most intense in Africa.
 |
|
The
magnificent beauty of the wide Zambezi River bordering the southern edge of
this park makes it one of the most spectacular scenic parks in Africa. The
opportunities to get close to game that wander in and out of the Zambezi
channels, and indeed in and out of the lodge areas, are frequent. |
Enormous herds of elephant are often seen at the rivers edge. ’Island
hopping’ buffalo and waterbuck are common amongst a profusion of bird life.
The park also hosts good populations of lion and leopards, and listen too for
the frequent cry of the fish eagle.
